1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing and using CodeLens.AI, you accept and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our service.
2. Description of Service
CodeLens.AI provides a community-driven AI model benchmark platform where developers can:
- Submit code and task descriptions for evaluation
- Compare responses from 6 LLM models (GPT-5, Claude Opus 4.1, Claude Sonnet 4.5, Grok 4, Gemini 2.5 Pro, o3)
- Vote on best solutions with required explanatory comments
- View public leaderboards showing model performance by task type
3. Beta Service Notice
CodeLens.AI is currently in beta. The service is provided "as is" with:
- Daily evaluation limits (queue system with 15 free evaluations per day)
- No guarantee of uptime or availability
- Features and pricing subject to change
4. User Accounts
To use CodeLens.AI, you must:
- Create an account with a valid email address
- Verify your email before submitting evaluations or voting
- Maintain the security of your account credentials
- Not share your account with others
5. User Conduct and Prohibited Activities
You agree NOT to:
- Submit malicious code, exploits, or security vulnerabilities
- Game the voting system with fake accounts or coordinated voting
- Submit spam, advertisements, or irrelevant content
- Harass or abuse other users in vote comments
- Scrape or automated data collection without permission
- Reverse engineer or attempt to extract model outputs for commercial use
- Submit code you don't have rights to share
6. Content Ownership and License
Your Code: You retain ownership of code you submit. By submitting, you grant CodeLens.AI a license to:
- Process your code through LLM providers for evaluation
- Display results and votes if you choose to make evaluation public
- Use aggregated, anonymized data for public benchmark statistics
Vote Comments: Your vote comments on public evaluations are public and licensed under CC BY 4.0 (attribution required).
Model Outputs: AI-generated code belongs to respective LLM providers per their terms of service.
7. Queue System and Service Limits
During beta:
- 15 free evaluations processed daily (FIFO queue)
- Evaluations expire after 24 hours if not voted on
- Queue position depends on submission time and available budget
- We reserve the right to adjust daily limits
8. Voting Requirements
When voting on evaluations, you must:
- Provide a comment explaining your choice (minimum 20 characters)
- Vote honestly based on solution quality
- Not vote on your own evaluations
- Not coordinate votes with others
We may invalidate votes that violate these rules.
9. Data and Privacy
Code you submit is sent to third-party LLM providers (OpenAI, Anthropic, xAI, Google) for evaluation. See our Privacy Policy for details on data handling.
10. Intellectual Property Rights
The CodeLens.AI platform, including software, design, trademarks, and branding, is owned by or licensed to CodeLens.AI. You may not copy, modify, or redistribute our platform code without permission.
11. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account if you:
- Violate these Terms of Service
- Abuse the service or gaming mechanisms
- Submit illegal or harmful content
You may delete your account at any time, which will remove your personal data per our Privacy Policy.
12. Disclaimer of Warranties
CodeLens.AI is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee:
- Accuracy of AI-generated code or judge scores
- Availability or uptime of the service
- That the service will be error-free
- That benchmark rankings reflect absolute model quality
13. Limitation of Liability
In no event shall CodeLens.AI, nor its operators, be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, including without limitation:
- Loss of data or code submitted
- Errors in AI-generated solutions
- Decisions made based on benchmark rankings
- Service interruptions or data loss
Use AI-generated code at your own risk. Always review and test before production use.
14. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify CodeLens.AI against claims arising from your use of the service, including code you submit or votes you cast.
15. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be notified via email. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
16. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Spain. Disputes will be resolved in Spanish courts.
