CodeLens.AI ("we", "our", or "us") respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal data. This privacy policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your data when you use our AI model benchmark platform.

2. The data we collect about you

We may collect and process the following data about you:

  • Account information: Email address, username (when you create an account)
  • Evaluation data: Code you submit, task descriptions, evaluation results
  • Voting data: Your votes and required comments (min 20 characters)
  • Usage data: How you interact with our platform

3. How we use your personal data

We use your personal data to:

  • Provide our AI benchmark evaluation service
  • Process evaluations through 6 LLM providers (GPT-5, Claude Opus 4.1, Claude Sonnet 4.5, Grok 4, Gemini 2.5 Pro, o3)
  • Display public leaderboards and aggregate statistics
  • Send notifications about your evaluation results
  • Prevent abuse and gaming of the voting system

4. Data sharing and third parties

We share your data with:

  • LLM providers: Your code and task descriptions are sent to OpenAI, Anthropic, xAI, and Google for evaluation processing
  • Email service: Resend (for transactional notifications)
  • Hosting: Supabase (database), Vercel (deployment)

We do NOT sell your data to third parties.

5. Public vs private evaluations

By default, all evaluations are private. You can choose to:

  • Share publicly: Evaluation appears in community feed with your username
  • Share anonymously: Evaluation is public but your username is hidden
  • Keep private: Only you can see the evaluation

Vote comments are always public when you vote on community evaluations.

6. Data retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. You can delete any evaluation at any time. Deleted evaluations are permanently removed from our database.

7. Data security

We use industry-standard security measures including:

  • Encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS)
  • Supabase authentication with email verification
  • Row-level security (RLS) policies in PostgreSQL
  • Rate limiting to prevent abuse

8. Your legal rights

You have the right to:

  • Request access to your personal data
  • Request correction of your personal data
  • Request erasure of your personal data
  • Object to processing of your personal data
  • Request restriction of processing your personal data
  • Request transfer of your personal data
  • Right to withdraw consent

9. Cookies and tracking

We use essential cookies for authentication and session management. We use Vercel Analytics (privacy-friendly, no personal data collected) to understand usage patterns.
